Physical Therapy Endurance Training

Endurance is all about increasing your breathing and heart rate. Also called aerobic exercise, endurance exercises include activities such as walking, running, jogging, biking and jump rope. Endurance is important because it keeps your heart, lungs and circulatory system healthy, and according to the American Heart Association, can reduce the rise of many diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

At BC + PT, your physical therapist will guide you through a variety of exercises, both on and off equipment like stationary bikes or treadmills to help you increase your endurance.

Our Patient Reviews

“ I have been a patient at Buffalo Chiropratic and Physical Therapy for about a year now, working on strengthening my knee for replacement surgery while waiting for another medical issue to resolve. During the year the business changed hands and, happily, the transition from the old to the new has been very smooth. Dr. Connor oversees my aqua therapy and physical therapy. He is extremely knowledgeable, both professional and personable and focused. Yet he is very easy to interact with. He has a good sense of humor which he uses frequently because he can be a tough taskmaster when asking you to stretch to your limits to encourage healing. However he never pushes a you to the point of pain, and encourages a gentle, easy start for any new exercise. When explaining a new exercise he is very clear and precise in his directions, explaining the mechanics as well as the reasoning behind it. Dr. Connor is an outstanding therapist whom I can wholeheartedly recommend. May 02, 2025 ”
